Key Club puts their paws up for the

Humane Society

Accolades from the Director of the Humane Society: “AWESOME!!! That's one of many

words that describes your organization!! All of the members were helpful, friendly, and

most of all wonderful with the shelter pets! You guys rock! Our success today is

measured by the volunteers that gave up their Saturday to help us! I pray we can team

up again for an-other great event! We love you guys.”

Susan Toney, Shelter Director

Humane Society of Southeast Texas

KELLY CAN!

Kelly can is a Fundraister sponsored by Key Club for the Southeast

Texas Food Bank.
We are asking the public attending the November 4th

Senior night football game to bring one or more canned goods to the game. We will

also be collecting monetary donations in the stands during the 1st quarter at an

announced time period. We will be using art work by our very own Samantha Bares

on the posters and signs.

KELLY CAN... make a difference in our community!!!!!

Key Club may just seem like any other club at Kelly High School; however, its members

learn how to give back to the community and ask for nothing in return. Each semester

members are required to volunteer twenty service hours and attend three meetings to

remain in good standing. This may seem like an exorbitant time commitment, but it

manifests the willingness of our members to sacrifice to meet the needs of others.

Availability a few hours after school or on the weekends provide life altering experiences

which affect all those involved. Service is the foundation of Key Club and its dedication

to the community will continue through its members throughout the

2011-2012 school year.

Time: Meetings are each Thursday from 3:30-4:00 in

the cafeteria. Members are required to complete

50 hours of service each year.
